David H. Ro, Esq., is a founding member of RO & YOU LLP and an experienced workers’ compensation attorney with more than 20 years of experience solely defending the interests of Employers, Insurance Companies and Third Party Administrators. Mr. Ro handles all aspects of litigation, from inception to Trials and Appeals. He has successfully defended Labor Code §132(a) and Serious & Willful claims for Employers. In addition, he provides advice and counseling for Employers on issues of ADA, Wage and Hour, Harassment and Discrimination claims. 

 

Mr. Ro has had over 50 take-nothing decisions at the Trial level, prepared numerous writs of review, conducted hundreds of applicant and expert depositions and defended against fraudulent workers’ compensation claims in conjunction with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

 

Mr. Ro has successfully represented numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as national insurance companies such as Liberty Mutual, Gallagher Bassett Services, York Risk Services Group, AIG Insurance, Travelers Insurance, and Zurich Insurance. 

 

Professional Background

Prior to RO & YOU LLP, Mr. Ro was a Partner at a national AMLAW 200 firm providing defense representation to various self-insured employers and insurance clients.  He managed several accounts, conducted countless claim reviews and supervised the work of numerous attorneys in the firm’s workers’ compensation practice group. Prior to this, Mr. Ro also worked as an attorney at a respectable workers’ compensation defense firm in California.
